Please note that this procedure is HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL. While I don't expect any problems would arise, I also CAN NOT guarantee the safety of your character at this point should you choose to help test this area.

In order to get it so that you log into your normal account when on Facebook instead of the one that was created for you when you first saw the game in Facebook, follow these steps:

1) From your normal account, send me an in-game mail saying that you want your two accounts linked. Include the name of the newly created Facebook account.

2) From your newly created Facebook account, send me an in-game mail saying you want your two accounts linked. Include the name of your existing account.

3) Wait. When I'm able to verify that both accounts line up and it all checks out, I'll make the link and the previous Facebook character will be deleted.

In the future, this process will be automated for existing users. However, for now the above steps MUST be followed EXACTLY, or else I won't be able to be sure I'm not signing your account over to some random jerk.

In the meantime, if you're not comfortable with the risk of linking the accounts, feel free to play both accounts just as they are. Be aware that there won't be any (easy) way to log into the normal site with your FB account for some time.

If you play for a while on your FB character, what happens to your inventory once you link the accounts and delete the character? Can you manually send all the items and money over?

No, that temporary FB character is simply deleted. I don't want to run into a situation where someone has more than one Generalist skillgem, for example.

Please note that FB seems to be generally stable at this point, so I feel somewhat safer recommending linking the two if you want.

The interface for doing it automatically in the game will take some time to put together, but will come eventually.
